
LELA KOMETIANI

Lela Kometiani is an artist and educator. She received her BA with Honors in Painting from Nikoladze College of Arts, Georgia and her MA in Graphic Design from the Academy of Fine Arts, Georgia. She continued her studies at Pennsylvania State University, taking additional courses in Graphic Design.
Lela has worked on projects for many organizations such as University of California, Penn State University, American Paper group, United Methodist Homes, Inc., Children’s Museum, NJ, and HARPS Foundation. Lela has received first place awards in several contests and earned recognition in graphic arts and book illustration, including a Writer’s Digest National Award for book illustrations. Her works are held in private collections in the United States and Europe. Lela lives with her family in Charlotte.
